Account Deletion – KI Translate App

How to Delete Your Account

To delete your KI Translate account and associated data:

  1. Open the KI Translate app
  2. Go to Profile section
  3. Select “Delete Account” option
  4. Confirm with your password
  5. Your deletion request will be processed within 24 hours

Alternative Method: Email [email protected] with your account deletion request.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we remove:

  • Your user profile information (name, email, profile photo)
  • Translation history (up to 10 recent translations)
  • App preferences and settings
  • Any stored personal data
  • Anonymized analytics data associated with your account
  • Translation collection data (if you opted in)

Deletion Timeline

  • Immediate: Your account is deactivated and you can no longer log in
  • Within 24 hours: Deletion request is processed and data removal begins
  • 30 days: Backup copies are retained for 30 days before automatic permanent deletion

What Is NOT Deleted

  • Support tickets/FAQ feedback: These may be retained (with your email/user ID removed or anonymized) to improve the app
  • Anonymized data: Fully anonymized analytics and translation data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for research and improvement purposes
